Preflight · free readiness scanner
Check your LegitScript certification readiness, free.
The LegitScript® Healthcare Merchant Certification application costs $975 per website and is nonrefundable. Preflight reads your site the way a certification reviewer does (claims, disclosures, trackers, payments) and hands you an evidence-backed readiness report first. Free, about a minute, no account.
Scan your own site (or one you’re authorized to review). Preflight is a readiness pre-scan: not legal advice, not a certification decision, and not affiliated with or endorsed by LegitScript. LegitScript® is a registered trademark of LegitScript LLC.
What it checks
Claims & disclosures
Guaranteed-Rx language, brand-equivalence claims, superlatives, missing prescription-required and compounded-drug disclosures.
Privacy & payments
Ad pixels and session replay near health surfaces, certification-seal authenticity, WHOIS posture, and the Shopify-Payments-on-Rx trap.
Evidence, not vibes
Every finding quotes the exact text it matched, with the page path, and carries its authority level, from published standard to reviewer heuristic.
About a minute
A dozen prioritized pages crawled live. What a crawl can't judge (patient journey, imagery, licensure) is flagged for human review, never guessed.
The certification playbook
Everything we know about LegitScript certification, written down.

Common questions
Before you scan
What does the Preflight scanner actually check?
It crawls about a dozen of your site's highest-signal pages live and grades them against patterns from the published LegitScript® certification standards: claim language (guaranteed prescriptions, brand equivalence, superlatives), required disclosures, tracking pixels near health surfaces, certification-seal authenticity, domain registration posture, and payment-platform fingerprints. Findings quote the exact text they matched.
Is this the official LegitScript checker?
No. LegitScript's own website checker (on legitscript.com) tells you whether a site is already certified. Preflight answers the question that comes before that: whether your site is READY to apply, by scanning it against the patterns reviewers check. Use theirs to verify a certification; use ours to prepare for one.
Is Preflight affiliated with LegitScript?
No. Preflight is built by Embed Care and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LegitScript. It's a readiness pre-scan against their published standards, not legal advice and not a certification decision; LegitScript makes its own independent determination. LegitScript® is a registered trademark of LegitScript LLC.
Is it really free, and what happens to my report?
The scan is free and takes about a minute. You see the score, status, and top findings immediately; the full report (every finding with evidence, your action plan, and the readiness-by-standard table) unlocks with your work email. We follow up once, as humans, and never auto-send anything else.
Can it scan any website?
Any public site you own or are authorized to review. Password-gated storefronts are detected and reported as gated rather than bypassed, and things no crawler can honestly judge (your patient journey, image claims, provider licensure) are flagged for human review instead of being guessed at.
What should I fix before applying for LegitScript certification?
The most common blockers we see: missing business identity, guaranteed-prescription or brand-equivalence claims, missing compounded-drug disclosures, ad pixels on intake surfaces, prohibited catalog items like unapproved peptides, and prescription products running on a payment processor that forbids them. The scanner finds these in a minute; the guide series below covers how to fix each one.
